Who We Are

There are too few places where viewpoints can be contrasted with rigor, sincerity, fairness, and, on occasion, in good humor.

Raised Debate is wholly dedicated to hosting and moderating debates on the topics and issues reverberating in American thought and life.

We fully embrace the importance of debate in any society and hold a deep regard for the human potential for growth, grit, and intellectual resiliency.

What we do and how we do it.

Our approach is a mix of traditional and our own style. The objective is to amplify what already works, but make debates work better within our current context.

We apply an adaptive method and mentality so that debates can take place regardless of location, time constraints, or the immediate availability of speakers.

In collaboration with speakers that have the expertise and confidence to represent their ideas well, each debate is geared towards providing a cohesive and rewarding debate experience.

Outside of hosting our own, Raised Debate is also open to partnering with other organizations to facilitate debate development.
